Castle Beach

September 19, 2010

We drive to Fascia Point, near Castle Beach. People, dogs and kids are frolicking on the beach. It rained all day yesterday. Sky had asked for just half a day without rain for our time on Castle Beach. And amazingly, it’s not raining. After enjoying Fascia Point, we look for a way to get close to the famous Tristory Rock on Castle Beach itself. We find beach access and park near a circular wooden deck with bench seats and a dramatic snag tree in the center. The snag looks as though it has a being in it facing the sea.

We walk again on the beach enjoying the magnificent view. Finally we return to the car to get Sky’s bowl. On the bench on the circular deck, Sky lays out an altar. I add a stone I found on this beach. Also a crystal that I had tried to give Sky yesterday when she put a crystal in the river near the vortex. This crystal had jumped away and gotten lost somewhere in the car and we were unable to find it. Today it had reappeared and so I placed it with the others. Sky played the bowl a long time, while I called in all the Misselthwaite points. I ask and intend that this ceremony bring enlightened energy to our planet. Later Sky tells me that she made the same request. After our ceremony, we place my crystal plus one of Sky’s in the snag.

We have a delicious lunch of salmon wraps and fruit – our reward. Also we buy good chocolate in a candy store. As we leave Castle Beach it starts to sprinkle. Driving inland, we stop at a large waterfall, walking up to the higher bridge for a better view.

Driving on, as we approach Cork, we see a large rainbow on the other side of the river. I tell Sky that this may indicate that our work is to be done on that side of the Heavenly Bridge. We cross the Bridge for the first time and find the Heritage Marker where we’ll park to do our work in the morning.

That night, we sleep in a horse barn that belongs to a friend. The horses can’t get into the part of the barn where we’re sleeping, but we can hear them moving in the night. There is a violent storm with high winds and pelting rain most of the night. The weather Gods have answered Sky’s prayer, and apparently the delayed release is all the stronger.
