Emerald Lake and Bird Heaven

September 21, 2010

We drive to Emerald Lake. I have promised Sky that Emerald Lake will not disappoint, and I’m certain it won’t. I had awoken with an understanding about our route for today. We are to drive to the west around Emerald Lake, climb to the Sentinel tower, bring energy from there east past Mt. Sceptor, then back to Carriage, down the depressed business area, south and then west to Bird Heaven and finally back to the motel in Carriage. The whole time bringing high energy with us. Quite a working day. Now we drive to the Sentinel parking lot. I sort out the crystals that want to go with us. Sky carries her bowl and we begin climbing the switchbacks. When we reach the point where Claire had buried a crystal, I realize for the first time what the function of that crystal is. It gives a transitional energy to climbers at that point so that they move more softly between the softer energy of the parking lot and lower hill and the intense energy of the Sentinel vortex.

Finally we are there. I place Sky’s crystal bowl on top of the high rock where Sybil, Claire and I had buried out crystals. The energy here is clear, intense and strong, yet we are calm within it. The water below is also calm, sparkling with light and energy and impossibly blue. Across the Lake we see Mt. Sceptor, where we know is located another powerful vortex. The leyline through Mt. Sceptor passes through the Extreme Vortex and out into the Pacific, possibly to Easter Island.

We take pictures and read the informational signs that tell about the geology and history of the area. We notice that there is a cloud-like ring around the sun and two long, thin “clouds” on each side of the sun, both pointing toward Carriage and Bird Heaven. I climb on top of the large rock next to Sky’s bowl waiting for the right time to show itself. We talk to a couple about their travels. From their words and how the present, we become aware that they are awakening and growing in consciousness. In our conversation, we nudge them on a bit. Other people are here talking and taking pictures. Finally only 2 parties are left. Two Asian-American young women that seem to be a couple and another party of 3 young Asian-Americans. One young man from the second party has also climbed the rock and told his companions that he is “rooted here”. The young couple more toward the exit path, yet they linger. I have already connected up this spot with all the Misselthwaite points, Sinuous Mound, Mt. Sceptor, Destiny Mountains, Coastal Cliffs, the mouth of the Rascal River, Castle Beach, and Heavenly Bridge. I decide that the party of 3 are supposed to be here for Sky’s playing and that the other couple will be either pushed out or drawn in when Sky begins.

So I hand her the bowl and say “These people are supposed to be here.” She begins playing. With the sound, energy courses from my crown and spirals down my spine to my root. I ground it and ask for upliftment for our planet. I use the sound to direct a soft golden light out and down into the Carriage Basin, filling the entire Basin with light. When the light reaches Mt Devi, she sends it on out to the entire planet and beyond. Sky stops circling the bowl, pauses, and begins tapping like a gong. After a time she pauses again and starts the circling anew. This time energy courses up from my root, spiraling my spine and out my crown. I offer it to the higher beings and dimensions above. Finally Sky stops and asks me to join her on a stone bench. She asks me to relate our journey, where we have gone. After I speak the name of each place, she strikes the bowl like a gong (*). I say, “We leave Quark Valley *. We travel to the top of Mt Devi*. We go to Rishi Meadows*. We go to Jolly Point *. We go to Eagle Lake *. We return to Jolly Point *. We drive to the towering trees*. We travel through the towering trees on back roads *. We see an elk on the beach *. We drive to the mouth of the Rascal River *. We drive to the Extreme Vortex *. We go to the Salt Caves *. We go to Castle Beach *. We go to Heavenly Bridge *. We spend the night near Cork *. We return to Heavenly Bridge *. We drive around Mt. Hester and south to Carriage *. We come to Emerald Lake *. Our spirit travels before us back to Carriage *. We go to Bird Heaven *. We return to Carriage*. We go to the Mineral Springs *. We return to Quark Valley *. Our ceremony is ended and we bury 2 crystals at the top of the rick where Sybil, Claire and I had buried three crystals before.

We descend to the car and drive around the rest of the Lake. At one point Sky tosses a crystal toward the lake. I do the same at a place overlooking some ancient rocks. Here we are near Mt. Sceptor and opposite the Sentinel, so I’m leaving this crystal directly opposite those buried on the Sentinel.

We return to Carriage. When we reach the Northern exit for the Business highway, I’m confused about the route and decide to drive that part of our route from the south on our return from Bird Heaven.

We drive to Bird Heaven and it’s sad. The water is dried up and there’s small grass-like plants growing there. There are some large dried-up cracks in the ground. The energetic temple on the platform feels old and abandoned. There are only a few birds. I do a soil balancing for all of the Wildlife Refuge. Then a soil balancing for the area underneath the platform. Then I do an energy clearing for all of the Refuge and an energy clearing for the platform and temple. As a result, the temple is becoming re-activated. Then I ask Sky to play. I connect in all the Misselthwaite points and ask that this linkage reactivate this temple. After Sky plays for a bit, I feel a distracting energy from a rear corner of the platform. There’s a bench there and I more to sit on it and the energy goes away. Sky’s bowl playing re-awakens the temple even further. After a moment, I feel this temple connect to the one at the Headwater and I feel and almost hear the connection snap into place. After she plays, I leave a crystal beneath the platform to stabilize the positive energy and one under the entry walkway. I ask the crystals to continue to remind the temple that it is a temple.

We drive to Carriage, entering the town via the Business highway. We purposely drive around the depressed area for the center city, sending love and light as we go. Finally we reach the motel, but find that they are full. We call a few other motels in our price range, but they are all full. A motel in Wyatt has plenty of empty rooms, so we retrace our route back almost to Bird Heaven and all the way to Wyatt. We stop at Rumbling Point to eat our half sandwiches that we never finished at lunch. We arrive at Wyatt around 8 p.m., tired from our dramatic day.
