The next morning we have eggs and tea in a cafĂ© before setting out for the Heritage Marker. On the way, Sky is drawn to drive down a certain street and we find ourselves at a historic steamboat landing which juts out into the river like a pier. We walk out on the pier and find ourselves upstream from Heavenly Bridge. The energy here is soft and enfolding. The water and land here create a somewhat circular shape and the soft energy seems to spin gently in this circle. We bask in the magnetic energy of this vortex for awhile and then we drive to the Heritage Marker. We take a path into the trees that line the cliff above the river. We find a natural altar and I lay out three crystal pointing toward Mt. Hester. I call in all the Misselthwaite points, Sinuous Mound, Mt. Hester and Sky’s 12 Eastern points. I ground them all here and ask and intend that this grounding will bring greater strength and light to all and that this water be purified and enlivened by this work. After we are done, I balance and stabilize the work with flower essences. Balancers are F-1, Moon and SR5. Stabilizers are F-2 and SR7.
We drive slowly across the Bridge. No cars are around us so we take our time. We notice an island down below and decide to go there. We find the island and park the car, bringing Sky’s bowl across a grassy area to the tip of the island nearest the Bridge. An informational sign says the Native Americans believed there is a family connection between Mt. Hester, Mt. Harmony, and Mt. Adamas. So I add connections to Mt. Harmony and Mt. Adamas into the energy we are carrying. Sky plays her bowl while I sit with my back against a helpful tree holding the space. Later Sky said that the water and the air took in the sound and absorbed it, and then diffused it out, dispersing it everywhere.
After leaving the island, I try to re-join the highway going East. However, I can’t find a way to do this and I’m forced onto the highway going West. I get off on the first exit to turn around. As I exit, a police car is stopping somewhat perpendicular to our approach. I instantly remember the incident of the police car slowing us down at the start of the Misselthwaite project and the perpendicular car slowing Laurel and I down near the Coastal Cliffs. I know we’re at the Megaworks, so instead of turning left to re-join the freeway, I turn right. I drive slowly around the different building and parking areas, sending blessings to each area.
When we feel that we have accomplished whatever our presence is intended to achieve, we leave the Megaworks and proceeded East. We drive around Mt. Hester and take the Highway toward Carriage. We try several times to find comfortable lodging near the Emerald Lake junctions but are not able to do so. Finally we realize that we are meant to go all the way to Carriage, even though that will mean more circling back the next day.
