The reality of things unseen. Uploading my writings to a blog – even an anonymous blog – commits me to a public avowal of a belief in things unseen. Energy vortexes, underground cities, leylines, Lemurian temples. Compared to these, homeopathy seems rather staid and pedestrian. I present the blog posts as stories so that more people can read and enjoy them. But there are things unseen in the stories too. Unseen assumptions about how the world works that are different from what is generally accepted in our society. We know, at least theoretically, that everything is created from energy. The unseen link, that some know, but most do not, is that energy is created from thought and aspiration. And therefore that energy follows thought and aspiration and can be moved by thought and aspiration.
The pictures of the oil spill are horrifying, and they are intended to be so. It is our thought and our intention that we show ourselves in a visceral way this normally hidden side of our petroleum lifestyle. Many people and species of the Gulf have agreed on a soul level to sacrifice so that we might see this, and be compelled to make another choice in our means of transportation. This is human thought and aspiration in action, remaking our world.
To the waters, plants and animals of the Gulf, Dr. Emoto suggests we say “Please forgive me. I apologize. Thank you. I love you.”
It is right that each of us apologize, because we each have participated in our chosen lifestyle which includes the use of petroleum for our transportation and our casual acceptance of corporate control of many aspects of our daily lives. It is right that we ask forgiveness for allowing things to get to the point that this sacrifice is necessary. It is right that we thank the water and living beings of the Gulf for their willingness to make that sacrifice. And it is right that we send them love and healing from the deepest well of our open hearts.
Now we wait. More earth changes are coming. More sacrifices will be made so that we will see the implications of our choices. And so that it will be easier to make new choices than to remain the same. I want to enfold the quiet beauty of this day in my heart and carry it like a talisman to protect my spirit from becoming overwhelmed by chaos in the days to come. May it help me remember that it is my thought and human aspiration, aligned with the thoughts and aspirations of millions of others, that are creating these earth changes for the benefit of us all.
