Slender Penstemons

September 13, 2010

That night I don’t sleep much. There’s too much energy running through my body. I’m shivering as if with cold, but it’s probably more energy than cold. On waking, I gather the petals. The stamens are difficult to remove, but I manage it using the tweezers on my pocketknife. I test that I need 14 of the small flowers. I put them in a white ceramic dish (we have no glass) in the sun for 1 ¼ hours, then pour it into a plastic bottle, and lay it next to my large crystal for another 1 ¼ hours to stabilize it. The camp host says they are Slender Penstemons. I gathered the more violet ones which are a deeper color than the fuchsia ones.

The camp host suggests to me that we look for “Cosmic Lilies” on the path to the higher meadows. Sky and I set out to look for them, Sky carrying her crystal bowl. We hike quite a ways without finding the lilies. After a time, we find a bare, tall spirally-twisted stump standing near the path like an obelisk. A thin, bare horizontally-gent tree stands nearby. Sky says this indicates a portal. I hike maybe 50’ farther up the path and find a large stump embedded in a large mound. I call to Sky that I’m to stay with this stump during our time here. Sky sits in a split between the twisted tree and one growing near it and plays her bowl. The sound fills the space between us, filling the huge portal that appears to be here. Again I see images of our trip in my 3rd eye.

After our enchanting concert, we hike back to Sky’s car and drive to the coop in Devaki. There we have lunch and buy a chocolate cookie for the fairies. I also buy 2 airplane-size containers of brandy to preserve the flower essence. Then we drive to Lake Bountiful, park and walk to the place where we had opened a portal last April. I took another picture of Mt. Devi from the same spot. We are on the same bank we had seen from above the day before. Sky plays her bowl and we both throw infused crystals into the lake. I find a small stone that seems to have entities enfolded in it, and I take it with me, putting it with the rest of my stones and crystals.

The drive back to Rishi Meadows is profound. We enter a slower, more vibrant reality. We pass the trees that frame the road as if in slow motion. It seems as if they are allowing us to experience their sense of time and place.

That evening, as we’re walking to our campsite, Shawna calls. She’s feeling the loss of her daughter who has left for college and wants to stay alone and quiet tonight. Sky tells her that I made a flower essence. Shawna says that makes her day. She says that this is sacred work, and that I will be bringing in flowers from the higher dimensions. I feel filled with gratitude that such work will be mine to do.

Back at the campsite, it’s growing dark. Sky breaks the large chocolate cookie into 3 pieces and puts them a 3 different spots among the patch of Slender Penstemon flowers. After a moment, she takes a picture of the patch. In this photo, everything looks normal. A few minutes later, she takes another picture. This time several orbs are clearly visible in the photo.

That night, I sleep soundly except for walking to the outhouse and back at about 3 a.m. the stars are stunningly gorgeous. I also read a few pages of Behaving As If the God in All Life Matters. In these pages, Machaelle Wright explains that the devic realm creates a blueprint from a person’s body based on the direction, purpose and life contract of that soul. The nature spirit realm manifests that body for the soul according to the blueprint. As long as a person is fulfilling their soul contract, the body is healthy because it has been constructed to be in balance for that direction and purpose. When a person uses their free will to make other choices for their life, ill health results, because their body hasn’t been constructed for those life choices.
